What will you do, and who will you be, in this one precious life? It is never too late to ask this powerful question, and there is no answer that couldn't use some periodic refreshing. If we are to live to the fullest, in good times and bad, we must have some basic skills: the ability to inhabit our lives through presence, to follow our internal prompting to create our own unique life, and the capacity to continually expand our world view in order to hold it all with equanimity. We will explore the practice and implications of mindfulness, the creative ability to step into the unknown, and how to compassionately nurture our ability to be in a non-dual relationship within ourselves and with the world.

Juanita Weaver has taught several classes on aliveness, mindfulness, and creativity at the Jung Society of Washington. She has taught mindfulness to children in middle school and done research on the impact of these practices. She has also taught mindfulness to inner city children. Juanita wrote the Creative Zone column for Entrepreneur Magazine and has taught creativity to corporate executives and entrepreneurs. She lives in Takoma Park and consults on public relations and marketing.
