Saturday a.m.: Marie Louise von Franz: In this hour-long interview, Dr. Von Franz discusses the meaning of the symbolic processes of alchemy for the modern individual interested in developing consciousness of the soul. She speaks about the
life-enhancing effects of getting to know the shadow side of oneself and of life, and the nature of the play of opposites in the soul, as well as discovering the lost values of the feminine for western people.
Saturday p.m.: Laurens van der Post: In this hour-long interview, van der Post, a world-renowned explorer, statesman, and author, tells of how he came to know Jung and how immediately the soul connection between them came alive. He emphasizes Jung's discovery of the creative, destructive processes in the soul and the effect on the evolution of spiritual consciousness in western people. His own highly developed feeling and symbolic sense of the dynamic unfolding of events is riveting. For this program, we intend to offer CEUs for Social Workers.
