Support the Society

A gift to the Jung Society of Washington ensures that there will always be a place in Washington D.C. area to foster creativity, build stronger communities, and learn to navigate life in healthy ways. There are many meaningful ways to give to the Jung Society.

Annual Fund

Annual Fund gifts are critical to supporting the basic needs of the Jung Society. These unrestricted, 100% tax-deductible gifts help cover the costs of providing educational and outreach programs, helping the Jung Society provide continuing education for the human spirit for students of all ages and walks of life.

The Temenos Circle

Donors who wish to support the Jung Society with gifts of $500 or more become part of the Temenos Circle, a special group of donors who believe in the Society’s lively contributions to intellectual life, deep connection to community, and commitment to the arts.

If you choose, you can designate exactly how your gift will be used when you make a donation.

Temenos Circle Friend | $500 – $999

All Membership benefits, plus:

Recordings of selected lectures and events | Two guest passes for any lecture | Invitations to the Temenos Circle event at the end of the academic year | Recognition on our Donor Wall

Temenos Circle Sustainer | $1000 - $2,499

Four guest passes for any lecture to be used within two years

Archetype Circle Ambassador | $2,500– $4,999

All Temenos Circle Sustainer benefits, plus:

Opportunity to sponsor a lecture or class series | Free access to one online class

Temenos Circle Benefactor | $5,000 & above

All Temenos Circle Ambassador benefits, plus:

Opportunity to sponsor a lecture or class series, and six guest passes to that lecture or series | Private dinner with a visiting scholar and James Hollis, executive director of The Jung Society of Washington.

Corporate Support

Become a part of the generous corporate community that supports The Jung Society of Washington. Companies of all sizes can underwrite a class or lecture that furthers team building, communication, or creativity. Please contact our development office to discuss the possibilities.

Matching Gifts

Matching gift programs offer to increase the value of an individual charitable donation. Please ask your employer if they participate in corporate gift matching.

Program Underwriting

The Society depends on vital partnerships to provide its innovative programming. Underwrite the cost of a class, workshop, or lecture that specifically speaks to you. You or your organization will be recognized in The Jung Society’s event signage. Program underwriting donations start at $500.

Planned Giving

Contribute to The Jung Society’s future by planning a special gift. While cash contributions are appreciated, there are many flexible options that can benefit you and the Society. Please inquire with our development office to discuss including the Jung Society in a charitable trust or your will.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

Gifts to the Jung Society are a wonderful way to honor significant people, commemorate special occasions, or remember a loved one. The Jung Society will send a letter acknowledging your gift to the recipient or their family.

The Jung Society of Washington brings the general public and professional community the insights and tools of analytic psychology and related disciplines. Through programs, classes, visiting speakers, partnerships with like organizations, and digital media, the Jung Society creates a platform for communal discussion regarding the personal and cultural issues that confront us. The tools these programs provide assist individuals, relationships, and societies in a dialogue that enhances understanding the unconscious dynamics that course through personal lives, cultural problems, and historic patterns.

Entrance to the Jung Society library and office is from the side street, Hawthorne Place.

The Jung Society of Washington is a nonprofit educational institution. Although many of the Jung Society's programs involve analytical psychology and allied subjects, these offerings are intended, and should be viewed, as a source of information and education, and not as therapy. The Jung Society does not offer psychoanalytical or other mental health services.
